Barser Kft. started the operation in 2019. Its activity is specialized for raising purchased pigs to market weight in the form of agistment.
Pig production takes place in two sites, which together allows to raise 4000 pigs at the same time. The farm produces almost 8100 slaughtering pigs in a year.
The farm applies PLF Agritech’s Weight DetectTM and Enviro DetectTM in a barn with 200 animal places since 2019. It does not use any other PLF technologies but a farm management information system (Livestocker).
